I am currently a county election judge and an elected precinct chair. I am also serving in two appointed positions: GOP Bexar County Chaplin and TexasEngagement24 leader for the state of Texas for the National Republican Party. I also volunteer on the Government and Commercial Construction Committees with the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

I have held numerous positions on many boards including being president and vice president of my neighbor association, chairman of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and am Emeritus at University of Incarnate Word. I have always served the industry I worked in and have held as many as 11 active board of director positions at one time.

In the city’s 2024-2025 budget survey, residents ranked homelessness, streets, housing and animal care services among their top concerns for the city to address. Which issues do you consider a top concern for District 1 and how would you work to address them in your first 100 days?

The top two concerns with District 1 are safety and homelessness. They work together and grow together. I am currently working with West End Hope in Action (WHEA). We are meeting with city council, safe officers, city workers on a bi weekly meeting to address these concerns. We are also having a monthly prayer walk to speak against the evil in these neighborhoods and welcoming the Holy Spirit and the protection that the Holy Spirit offers.

We are hopeful that this initiative will be a model for other neighborhoods to address the two most important concerns with our neighborhoods all across the City of San Antonio. 3 city council members were present at the meeting on March 7th and we continue to coordinate efforts to reduce these two important issues.

My other top priority is the debt our city is in. We are the highest dept per capital almost in the nation. My plan is to cut out all the unnecessary expenditures and reduce the budget.

In a crowded field of council candidates, what differentiates you from the others?

I am the only candidate that wants to put God back in the city of San Antonio. Without God our city will go to Hell if we are not already there. If God was priority we would not have the homelessness, crime, hate, indecision, etc. all these issues. With prayer and God in the lead we could unify and work towards the solutions. Prayer is essential for everything.

If elected, how do you plan to solicit input and feedback from residents in your district?

When elected, I plan to continue the regular mailing of newsletters and emails as currently performed by numerous city council members. In addition, I plan to attend or have representative from my office to attend the neighborhood meetings and also offer breakfast and lunch times to visit with me as I am currently doing now as I campaign for City Council District 1.
