For the third consecutive year the Paseo del Rio Association hosted the Armed Forces Parade Saturday evening.
Over twenty floats were beautifully decorated from head to toe in our countries colors, and topped with the brave men and women who represent the U.S. Military.
Appearances by all five branches of the military – and organizations that support our troops – were present and ready for duty.
I spoke with U.S. Navy Chief Musician Adam K. Grimm, a 13 year member of the Navy’s Premier Band and asked what his role of service means to him.

“It’s about representing the sailors that couldn’t be here today. The Navy currently has 150 ships deployed, we are supporting the men and women who keep our country safe,” he said.
San Antonio’s continuing growth has many contributors, our military’s active and constant presence has always been an asset to our city and the thousands of deserving men and women serving were honored in true River City form.
