Across two days over the weekend, Hemisfair welcomed thousands of people donned in costumes to partake in the 10th annual Muertos Fest, a celebration of El Día de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead, downtown.

People weaved through numerous community altars, or ofrendas, honoring the lives of the deceased. Music rooted in Latino culture blared across the grounds from different stages. The smells of beloved eats from south of the border filled the air.

San Antonio Report photojournalists captured the festivities.
