Spring has sprung, and along with today’s Vernal Equinox, mega rains continue in San Antonio and South Texas, with a tornado touching down last night near Devine.   What a contrast to our historic drought last summer, just months ago in the rearview mirror.

The San Antonio River Authority’s Steven Schauer said no reports of damage had been reported as of this afternoon.  A quick trip to the Mission Reach this morning showed fast-moving waters, draining the remains of St. Patrick’s Day festivities and an additional two-plus inches to our very wet March. Check out the 20-second video below, and enjoy your tax dollars at work.   And Happy Equinox.
