San Antonio’s North Side is getting its own La La Land.
Permits were filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to turn a 1,259-square-foot space at The Shops at Lincoln Heights into a La La Land Cafe.
The cafe opened its first San Antonio location at The Shops at La Cantera in late 2025. The first La La Land Kind Cafe opened in Dallas in 2019.
Since then, the coffee company has expanded cafe locations across the state in Austin, Houston and Dallas areas. Nationally, there are cafes in California, Arizona and Nashville and there’s also plans to open a location in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The company has garnered attention for its bright, yellow store design and its mission. La La Land Cafe tries to employ foster youth or young adults leaving the foster system, according to the company’s website.
Plans filed with the state show construction starting in May and ending in late August. La La Land representatives could not be reached for comment as of publication time.
