Among the highlights on the May 3 municipal election ballot are school board races in seven Bexar County-area school districts, as well as a handful of major bond elections.

All Bexar County voters will get to weigh in a nearly $1 billion bond for the Alamo Colleges District. Meanwhile in East Central ISD, where voters rejected big revenue measures last November, the district is coming back with a smaller ask.

Exciting school board races are going on San Antonio ISD, Northside ISD, Alamo Heights ISD, Comal ISD, Judson ISD, Medina Valley ISD, Harlandale ISD and Southwest ISD.

The San Antonio Report’s comprehensive voter guide features profiles on every school board candidate, information on how to find who represents you, what’s in the bond proposals, as well as where vote.

Early voting runs April 22 through April 29 for the May 3 election. Bexar County voters can choose from any of these 46 early voting locations. Hours vary by date and location.

The San Antonio Report’s election guide draws from candidate questionnaires, campaign websites, original reporting and other news sources to provide information on the local races you might otherwise not hear much about.
