Is Friday an ancient Mediterranean-themed evening of mythological discovery? Tour the San Antonio Museum of Art’s Egyptian, Greek and Roman collections, and try your hand at hieroglyphs. Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ride on down to the Briscoe Western Art Museum’s National Day of the Cowboy celebration. Chuck wagon cooking, rawhide braiding, lassoing demonstrations and a view of amazing escaramuza attire. Yeehaw!!!! (Did we mention it’s free?)
Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m., the cult film Killer Klowns from Outer Space unspools at Wonderland of the Americas, with directors The Chiodo Brothers appearing in person with vendors, a costume contest and more.
