The San Antonio Report is proud to be a primary digital brand of Texas Public Radio (TPR), an independent, nonprofit media organization serving San Antonio and South and Central Texas. Together, our newsrooms leverage digital reporting, public airwaves, and live events to keep our city connected like never before.

Through our unified digital presence, we deliver a comprehensive mix of local, regional, and national news, information, and stories:

Our stories don’t just stay online. Through Texas Public Radio’s network of seven non-commercial radio stations, our shared reporting reaches listeners across the region, anchored by our flagship San Antonio stations:

• KSTX (89.1 FM – San Antonio): An NPR member station featuring local news alongside national and international programming.
• KPAC (88.3 FM – San Antonio): San Antonio’s 24-7 home for classical music.
• Regional Networks: Extending public radio’s reach deep into the Texas Hill Country (KTXI), Del Rio (KTPD), Gonzales (KCTI), Llano (KVHL), and the Big Country (KTPR).

We aim to go beyond simply reporting the news to deeply engage our readers and mobilize people to make San Antonio a better city in which to live.

Operating from the heart of downtown San Antonio along the banks of the San Pedro Creek Culture Park, our Irma & Emilio Nicolas Media Center acts as a public square — regularly hosting civic forums, local storytelling events, political debates and cultural performances.
