Chari Kelly is a U.S. Army veteran who currently serves on Texas’ 3rd Court of Appeals in Austin. She was a paratrooper and a JAG in the Army, then a prosecutor and appellate judge. She’s unopposed in the Democratic primary and challenging Republican Justice James P. Sullivan in November.
