Pearl will begin searching for a new CEO after Mesha Millsap stepped down from the position at the end of 2025.

Millsap held the role since 2022 and has worked for Silver Ventures, Pearl’s developer, since 2007, where she started as a senior accountant.

In her time as CEO, Pearl has added Stable Hall, a music venue, and multiple new restaurants. The area has grown into one of San Antonio’s top destinations with well-known farmers and night markets, holidays events, Michelin Star-winning restaurants and a five-diamond hotel.

“I am incredibly proud of what we have built together during my 18 years here, and of the talented team that brings this neighborhood to life every day.  Pearl is growing and accelerating in exciting ways, and has a very bright future,” Millsap said in a press release.

Millsap oversaw Pearl’s property management, facilities maintenance, redevelopment, leasing, marketing, parking and activations in her role as CEO. Other companies focused on the area’s real estate development and food and beverage operations.

Pearl does not have a new leader lined up, according to a press release.

“The existing leadership team will oversee operations while the search for a replacement begins,” read a statement.
