R. F. “Bob” Achgill is a mechanical engineer who studied at Texas A&M University and lives in Bryan, Texas. He worked on NASA’s Space Shuttle program for IBM, taught school in Russia and ran unsuccessfully for a city council seat in 2024. He’s seeking the Republican nomination for governor in 2026.
