Want to showcase your restaurant’s food and drink at Spurs games next season?

Spurs Sports & Entertainment and Aramark are looking for 12 local restaurants to participate in the fifth edition of the franchise’s culinary residency program. The program received more than 200 applicants last year.

Online applications are open now through Aug. 4.

Selected restaurants will collaborate with SS&E and Aramark to prepare their signature dishes. They will take turns serving their food for up to nine Spurs home games at the Frost Bank Center during the 2025-26 season.

“The fans love these concepts that we’ve brought in,” said Kevin Barker, SS&E associate director of culinary experience. “This is a way to offer more variety with food concepts without having to build more stands.

“One of the hardest parts of my job is narrowing it down from 200 plus applicants to 12. There is zero risk for these restaurants. We cover all the costs, all the labor. We pay them a mini franchise fee. When they walk out of here, they don’t lose a dime.”

Program participants will set up in one of two locations at Frost Bank Center: in Section 4 outside of the Southwest Charter Club or on the Balcony Level next to the H-E-B Fan Zone.

The owners of the selected restaurants can participate in professional development opportunities led by SS&E.

The Spurs launched the culinary program to assist local restaurants affected by COVID-19. The program has grown from an initial cohort of four eateries to 12.

“The question was, ‘How do we support local mom and pops recover from the pandemic,” Barker said. “That was the vision that started the program.”
