Hear from the candidate

Please tell voters about yourself.

I have lived in San Antonio my entire life and care deeply about our community. My professional background includes business leadership, customer service, and entrepreneurship, giving me the skills to listen, problem-solve, and take action. I have worked with schools like NEISD and IDEA Public Schools to provide educational resources such as eclipse glasses, showing my commitment to local education.

I believe in unity, collaboration, and leadership that prioritizes people over politics. My campaign is rooted in the principle of “Love your neighbor as yourself,” and I am committed to ensuring that every resident of District 10 feels represented and valued in our city’s decision-making process.

List any previous experience in government or participation on local boards, commissions, or neighborhood associations.

I have not held elected office, but I have contributed to our community in meaningful ways. I worked with local schools to provide eclipse glasses for students, supporting education and public awareness. My background in business has equipped me with leadership, budgeting, and decision-making skills, all of which are essential for serving on the City Council. I know what it means to work hard, solve problems, and advocate for others.

I bring a fresh perspective to City Hall—one that is not tied to political affiliations but is focused solely on what is best for the people of District 10. My goal is to ensure that our local government is accessible, responsive, and accountable to those it serves.

In the city’s 2024-2025 budget survey, residents ranked homelessness, streets, housing and animal care services among their top concerns for the city to address. Which issues do you consider a top concern for District 10 and how would you work to address them in your first 100 days?

Three major concerns for District 10 are infrastructure, public safety, and homelessness.

  • Infrastructure: Many of our roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems need immediate attention. In my first 100 days, I will push for targeted street repairs and ensure city resources are allocated fairly across District 10. We need accountability in city spending to prioritize basic infrastructure improvements that directly impact our residents’ quality of life.
  • Public Safety: A safe community is a strong community. I will advocate for increased police presence in high-need areas, ensuring that law enforcement has the support needed to protect residents. At the same time, I support community-based safety initiatives that encourage collaboration between law enforcement and residents.
  • Homelessness & Housing: Homelessness is a growing issue in San Antonio. I will work with local organizations to expand resources for job training, mental health services, and long-term housing solutions. We must address the root causes of homelessness while maintaining safe public spaces for all residents.

These priorities will guide my leadership, and I will always listen to residents to ensure our district’s needs are met.

In a crowded field of council candidates, what differentiates you from the others?

I am not a politician—I am a servant leader. Unlike other candidates, I refuse to align with a political party or seek endorsements that create partisan divides. My goal is to bring District 10 together, ensuring that every resident, regardless of background or beliefs, has a voice in our city’s future.

I believe in practical solutions over political agendas and in listening to people instead of special interests. My campaign is built on the simple but powerful principle: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I am here to serve, not to advance a personal career, and I will always prioritize what is best for our community over what is best for politics. I offer a fresh perspective, a genuine passion for helping people, and a dedication to grassroots engagement that puts residents first.

If elected, how do you plan to solicit input and feedback from residents in your district?

Listening to residents will be my top priority. I will meet with District 10 residents face-to-face through door-to-door outreach, town halls, and neighborhood meetings. Additionally, I will establish a community platform on my website where residents can share concerns, provide feedback, and participate in discussions about local issues. This will allow for real-time engagement, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving.

I will also use email newsletters, online surveys, and social media updates to ensure that residents stay informed and have a say in important decisions. Most importantly, I will be accessible and accountable— residents will always know how to reach me, and I will respond promptly to their concerns. Government should work for the people, and I will make sure that City Hall listens to the voices of District 10.
