The San Antonio Spurs announced Wednesday that Head Coach Gregg Popovich suffered a mild stroke on Nov. 2 at the Frost Bank Center.

The longtime professional basketball coach has already started rehabilitation and is expected to make a full recovery.

“At this point, a timeline for his return to the sidelines has not been determined,” Spurs posted in an update on social media. “During this time, the organization is grateful to the extended community for providing privacy and space to the Popovich family.”

Popovich is in his 29th season as the team’s coach, in which the Spurs won five NBA championship titles.
