The City of San Antonio (CoSA) invested $1.2 million in expanding the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails System to Alazán Creek. The Alazán Creek Linear Trail is a 10-foot-wide paved path for walkers, runners and cyclists. CoSA Councilmember Roberto Trevino and San Antonio River Authority (SARA) Board Member Lourdes Galvan will lead the commemoration which will be followed by a community fun run that is open to the public.
