1849 Alamo Plat and Fields Notes

In 1849, François Giraud, city surveyor, made this plat of the Alamo and Maverick's property. The 1849 Giraud map also shows surveyed locations for the Alamo acequia. Unlike most other Alamo plats by Everett, Blake, and others who offer only schematic representations of the compound, Giraud surveyed each structure carefully and included precise meets and bounds descriptions of the original walls with his survey notes.
