Menéndez is seeking his third full term in the Texas Senate. He is a business development executive, former San Antonio City Council member and former member of the Texas House of Representatives. He won the Senate seat in a 2015 special election, and serves on the Local Government, Administration, Business and Commerce, and Education committees.
