The San Antonio Report, a nonprofit, nonpartisan digital news organization that reports on issues of importance and interest in San Antonio, offers paid internships and fellowships to eligible college students. Editorial positions are open to all students interested in a career in digital journalism as a reporter or photographer. Business positions are open to all students interested in nonprofit development, marketing and audience engagement. These positions play a key role in the most important work of the San Antonio Report, assisting with business operations or editorial news coverage.
Job opportunities in 2022:
- Next Generation News and Nonprofit Fellowship (1 spring, 1 summer, 1 fall) open to all college students and recent graduates
The positions are part-time in the spring and fall and full-time in the summer. Positions are typically based in our San Antonio newsroom located in historic St. Paul Square on the city’s near-Eastside. Our employees have transitioned back to an in-office yet flexible work environment with proper COVID-19 protocols in place. We ask our fellows to follow the same policies as full-time employees.
Current and recent college graduates are eligible for the internships and fellowships.
