District 2 Councilman Alan E. Warrick II will celebrate the start of construction for Martin Luther King Park. Improvements include providing access through the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex, safety lighting, widening and raising existing low-water crossing over the Salado Creek, and entryway monuments which will highlight Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The budget for this project is $2.6 million from the 2012-2017 Bond Program.
